The most coomplicated part of this project was getting the measurements correct. I made a mock up of it first, and then went to it with my expensive fabric. That fuzzy stuff is NOT cheap. Even doing the mock up, I had to make adjustments with the final product. It was way too big around his head. Interestingly enough, the measurements for a 20 year old male are not as different as a 6 year old! Guess we really do grow into our heads. Ha! Anyway, the recipient of this hat has been wearing it. Says it is super warm. And I feel pretty proud every time I see it.
